Photographic preservation of current Downtown Desert Hot Springs is about to undergo a wonderful revival in the downtown area. Desert Hot Springs Historian / photographer Ron Gilbert has taken the project of documenting the current state of our downtown area. We expect great things to happen in the revitalization of our downtown. However thanks to Ron we have preserved the current state (circa 2008). Follow this link to the pictures.
The area of DHS
being photographed: Pierson Boulevard and Palm Drive. The highlighted area
extends west to West Drive, east to Mesquite Avenue, north to Second Street
and south to Buena Vista Avenue.
